تلك القرية التي لطالما سمعنا عنها ولكننا لم نرها حتى أقيم فيها مهرجان كرمكول الثقافي في ديسمبر من العام  ٢٠١٧لم تكن الرحلة من الخرطوم اليها يسيرة؛ فالكثبان الرملية – او القيزان كما يقول لها اهلها- حالت دون وصولنا في الموعدفيهاالمحدد و ظلت تعانق العربة التي كانت تقلنا مرارا و لم يكن غريبا على أهل البلد
